A new update has emerged regarding Prabhas’ upcoming Telugu period drama film ‘Fauji’. The film’s makers have announced the addition of a significant name to its star cast. On Saturday, production company Mythri Movie Makers posted on social media wishing Anupam Kher a happy birthday and announced that he will be seen in Prabhas’ film ‘Fauji’. Veteran actor Anupam Kher has also joined Prabhas’ upcoming film Fauji. Earlier, in October 2025, on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday, the film’s makers had shared his first look poster and also revealed his character in the film. The post read, “Prabhasahanu is #Fauji—a brave soldier’s story from the untouched pages of our history. Happy Birthday, Rebel Star.”
The Film is Based on the Story of a Brave Soldier
The film Fauji is set to bring to the screen the story of a brave soldier from Indian history, about whom very few people know. It is being told that this film will showcase the courage and struggle of a heroic soldier, inspired by the untouched chapters of history.
The film is written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, while it is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The film’s music has been composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, and its cinematography handled by Sudeep Chatterjee. Meanwhile, the responsibility for the film’s editing has been carried out by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
