New Delhi: Politics has intensified regarding the recently held AI Summit in the country. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has leveled serious allegations against the Congress. The party says that Congress tried to tarnish the image of the Summit in a well-planned manner.
According to the BJP, Congress allegedly offered money to social media influencers to create negative videos against the AI Summit and broadcast them on online platforms. The party termed it a well-thought-out conspiracy, stating that its objective was to damage the country’s image at the international level.
Alleged Offer of 10 to 40 Thousand Rupees
BJP has claimed that Congress’s PR team contacted several social media influencers. It is alleged that they were asked to create negative videos against the AI Summit. According to the BJP, payment ranging from 10 thousand rupees to 40 thousand rupees was decided for this.
The party says that the aim of this entire effort was to spread the message through youth and digital creators that the summit was a failure. Calling it a well-planned campaign, the BJP said that attempts were made to damage the credibility of the event.
Influencers Shared Their Experiences
BJP’s allegations gained further traction when some social media influencers came forward and released videos on their respective platforms. These creators claim that they were allegedly contacted by people associated with Congress and offered to create videos based on pre-prepared scripts against the AI Summit.
Influencers claim that they were offered payment in return. Calling it a ‘paid campaign’, they stated that they possess chats and audio recordings showing discussions about money. However, these claims have not yet been independently verified.
The controversy deepened when workers associated with the Youth Congress protested outside the venue during the AI Summit. Police took action to control the situation and detained several protesters.
Following these developments, political rhetoric intensified. The BJP targeted Congress, calling it a party with an “anti-India” mindset. Party leaders allege that Congress tries to tarnish the country’s image on every international and national platform. Meanwhile, a detailed response from Congress regarding these allegations is awaited.
