Amidst these attacks, news of the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has made the situation even more volatile. Following this development, there is deep outrage in Iran, and retaliatory actions have intensified. Iran has launched missile and drone attacks targeting nine countries, including Israel.
Protests over Khamenei’s death have also started in several countries other than Iran. Given the rising tension and potential impact, vigilance has also been increased in India. The Central Government’s Ministry of Home Affairs has sent letters to states, instructing them to monitor the situation and maintain law and order.
What Does the Ministry of Home Affairs Advisory Say?
The Union Home Ministry has alerted all states about potential tension in the country amid ongoing attacks by Israel-America on Iran. In a letter issued on February 28, states were asked to keep a close watch on the situation and identify any provocative activities in time.
According to sources, the letter specifically called for identifying radical elements who could disturb the atmosphere by delivering inflammatory speeches in support of Iran. The Ministry also mentioned that protests have been observed in some parts of India following the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, and therefore, precautionary measures should be taken to maintain law and order.
Largest Attack on Iran So Far
Meanwhile, the US and Israel have launched large-scale attacks on Iran, described as the deadliest campaign to date. The US claims that these attacks targeted more than 40 top military and political officials, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
US President Donald Trump issued a video message, delivering a stern warning to Iran. He stated that military action would continue until the US achieves all its strategic objectives.
