Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen on Sunday through the 131st episode of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. In his address, he said that this platform has become a powerful medium to highlight the collective strength of the country and the achievements of its citizens.
He mentioned the Global AI Impact Summit recently held in Delhi, stating that this event is an example of India’s growing technological prowess. Representatives from many countries, leading figures from the industry, experts in innovation, and entrepreneurs from the start-up sector gathered at Bharat Mandapam for this summit.
The Prime Minister stated that, given the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), this summit could prove to be a crucial initiative in shaping the future. Serious deliberation was observed on this platform regarding how the world will utilize the power of AI in the coming times.
World Leaders Impressed at AI Summit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that during the summit, he had the opportunity to meet leaders from various countries and heads of tech companies. He stated that India’s technological progress was presented in detail at the AI Summit exhibition, which garnered keen interest from world leaders.
The Prime Minister specifically mentioned two innovations that particularly impressed international representatives. The first example was related to Amul’s stall, where it was demonstrated how Artificial Intelligence is assisting in animal health management. Additionally, through 24×7 AI support, farmers are better managing their dairy and animal-related records.
He further added, “Our second product was connected to our cultural heritage. Leaders from around the world expressed surprise seeing how, with the help of Artificial Intelligence, we are preserving our ancient texts, knowledge traditions, and rare manuscripts, and making them useful for today’s generation.”
During the exhibition, the Sushruta Samhita was presented as an example. The first stage demonstrated how the quality of old and blurred manuscript images is improved through advanced technology so they can be read clearly. In the next stage, these enhanced images were converted into machine-readable text, making their study and analysis possible through digital means.
Praise for Players of Indian Origin Playing for Other Teams
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that sports are not just about competition, but also possess the power to unite. He reiterated, “Those who play, flourish,” and added that sports strengthen relationships between people and countries.
Referring to the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup, he said that while watching matches, spectators’ eyes often fall on a player whose jersey might be of another country, but hearing their name evokes a sense of familiarity.
The Prime Minister said that when it is revealed that such a player is of Indian origin and is playing for a country where their family has settled, a natural feeling of pride and joy arises in the heart.
Parents Applauded for Daughter’s Organ Donation Decision
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in deeply emotional words, said that despite unbearable grief, Alin’s parents made a decision that made the entire country proud. He informed that Alin’s father, Arun Abraham, and mother, Sherin, decided to donate their daughter’s organs.
The Prime Minister stated that this decision reflects their vast heart and sensitive thinking. On one hand, they were deep in grief over losing their daughter, while on the other, they harbored the resolve to save others’ lives. He added that this step is not just a private family decision but an inspiration for society—a message that humanity and compassion can endure even in the toughest times.
Stay Aware of Cyber Fraud
Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised people to remain vigilant against cyber crimes. He mentioned that often there are reports of a senior citizen’s life savings falling victim to fraud. Sometimes money saved for children’s fees disappears, and sometimes businessmen face deception.
The Prime Minister warned that fraudsters often call, identifying themselves as high-ranking officials, and ask for personal information or bank details. Naive people trust them and suffer losses.
He emphasized that vigilance and awareness are the greatest defenses to avoid such incidents. One should not share information without verifying any unknown call, link, or message.
