In one scene, Pooja is shown sitting alone on the roof, broken-hearted and with injury marks on her body, narrating the pain she is going through.

Speaking about this project in a press release, Divya Dutta said that playing such a character was emotionally challenging. She stated that the subject of the story is extremely sensitive, and presenting it on screen with truth and sensitivity was a huge responsibility for her.

Sharing her experience in the film, Divya Dutta said that while playing the character of ‘Chiraiya’, she had to confront many uncomfortable truths. According to her, people often remain silent in the name of saving relationships and maintaining peace. This story forced her to think about how marriage is assumed as consent without question and how sacrifice is glorified in such a way that suffering is not even noticed.
She further added that when we see someone close to us enduring humiliation or injustice, the biggest question is — do we remain silent and let things be, or do we take the risk of standing up for what is right? She believes there is no easy answer to this, and that is what makes this subject deeply unsettling.
Divya Dutta expressed hope that the audience will not just watch this story but also feel it, and perhaps recognize those truths that society often overlooks.
