New Delhi: Continuous changes are being observed in the country’s weather during February. Minimum temperatures are gradually rising in most states. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in North-West India may rise by about 2 degrees Celsius on February 10. The department has also indicated that temperature fluctuations will continue in this region.
On the other hand, light rain is being recorded in some parts of North India and snowfall in the hilly areas. Meanwhile, light fog is also being seen in many areas during the morning, making the change in weather mood apparent.
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), due to the effect of a western disturbance, scattered rain and snowfall may occur in the Western Himalayan regions on February 10 and 11. The department has stated that there are chances of light rain accompanied by snow in some parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh until February 10. During this time, strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour may also occur in these areas.
Where Fog Will Occur
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of dense fog in some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the morning and night hours over the next 24 hours. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of dense fog engulfing Northern Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the early morning.
According to the IMD, temperatures remain around 10 degrees Celsius in Uttar Pradesh, Northern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Northern Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Assam, and Meghalaya. Meanwhile, the lowest minimum temperature in the plains of the country was recorded at 6.6 degrees Celsius in Shahjahanpur, Western Uttar Pradesh.
Winter will now weaken in the country
There is a possibility of a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by approximately 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in many areas of North-West India over the next two days. After this, there are no indications of any major change in temperature. It is clear that the effect of the cold will now start decreasing gradually. With bright sunshine coming out during the day, slight warmth will be felt in the weather, and relief from the cold will be visible.
How will the weather be in Delhi today
The weather in Delhi today will generally remain clear, although light clouds may be visible in the sky. There is a possibility of light mist prevailing in the morning. The maximum temperature in the capital today may remain between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is estimated to be around 9 to 11 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will remain close to normal. Along with this, light winds blowing at a speed of 5 to 12 kilometers per hour may occur, which will keep the weather pleasant.
