This rigorous process involves passing a written exam, attending workshops, and submitting five complex clinical cases, which are examined anonymously and very closely by experts. When I received the official notice of being accredited by the AACD, that moment was beyond words for me. It is not just a certificate or credential; it is the result of the research and the search for perfection that I have always considered my goal for every patient’s smile. It is a victory for my family’s unwavering faith and the trust of my patients.
She further added that the journey of AACD accreditation is a multi-year ‘odyssey’. Challenges arose many times, but my persistence to maintain the highest clinical standards kept me moving forward. This recognition makes me realize that we Indian doctors are second to none in the world in terms of skill and technology.”

At the prestigious ConsAsia Conference held in Chennai between August 28 and 31, 2025, she was honored with the highest award for ‘The Best Smile Designer in Asia’. This grand event was organized by the Asian-Oceanian Federation of Conservative Dentistry and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry India – which is affiliated with the AACD. The most special thing was that there were only two awards in this specific category, and Dr. Khushboo won both awards based on her talent! Additionally, in an international event organized by ‘Dentistry Unplugged’ in partnership with the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the Malaysian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry in Malaysia in November 2025, Dr. Khushboo won the runner-up title in the Aesthetic Dentistry Composite Category. The level of this competition was so high that more than 3,000 international aesthetic dentists from 48 countries across Asia participated.
Behind Dr. Khushboo’s success is the significant support of her cultured and prestigious family. Dr. Khushboo Maroo Baldwa is the daughter-in-law of the well-known Baldwa family of Hyderabad. This family holds a big name not only in the business world but also in the field of social service. Her husband Kartikeya Baldwa is a famous industrialist and CEO of Exxorial and Sri Kartikeya Group of Industries. Also, Dr. Khushboo is the daughter-in-law of the famous entrepreneur and social worker Bhagwati Baldwa and the famous philanthropist Mahesh Baldwa.
