Tapukara Factory Accident: 7 Lives Lost in Massive Fire, Relief and Rescue Continues

A major accident occurred due to a massive fire at a factory in Tapukara, located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. Many laborers were burnt alive after being caught in the fire. During the relief and rescue operation, 7 bodies of laborers have been recovered so far, while there is information about some others being missing. It is feared that the death toll may increase. About 25 laborers were working in the factory at the time of the accident.

The fire broke out around 9 am in a cardboard factory located in the Khushkhera Industrial Area of Bhiwadi. Information was given to the RIICO Fire Brigade from the Police Control Room at 9:22 am. As soon as the news of people being trapped in the factory was received, the police and fire brigade personnel jointly started a rescue operation. During the search, several charred bodies were recovered from inside.

The massive fire that broke out on Monday morning in the Khushkhera Industrial Area of Bhiwadi destroyed many families. The fire in a private industrial unit located at Plot No. G-1-118 B took a terrible form in no time. About half a dozen workers lost their lives in this painful accident.

When the relief team reached inside, the situation was extremely frightening—many bodies were badly burnt and found in a skeleton-like condition. The fire spread so fast that the laborers did not even get a chance to recover.

Administration ordered investigation

According to preliminary information, about half a dozen workers died on the spot due to burns. The intensity of the fire can be gauged from the fact that many bodies were found in a badly burnt, skeleton-like state.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police, administrative officials, fire brigade personnel, rescue teams, and medical teams immediately reached the spot. The entire area was cordoned off, and a relief and rescue operation was started. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital, where their treatment is ongoing.
Investigation into the causes of the fire has begun. The administration has given indications of a magistrate inquiry into the matter. After this painful accident, there is an atmosphere of grief and panic in the entire industrial area.

Police Statement
Superintendent of Police Prashant Kiran has confirmed the death of seven people in the accident. He said that efforts are being made to identify the deceased and gather other details. Meanwhile, according to Additional District Magistrate Sumita Mishra, the police team saw the factory on fire during regular patrolling, after which the relief and rescue operation was started immediately. She stated, “Nine people were trapped inside the factory. Seven bodies have been taken out so far.”
