Virat Kohli Becomes First Batsman to Score 4000 Runs in IPL Run-Chases

Virat Kohli has added another major record to his IPL career. He has now become the first batsman in history to complete a total of 4000 runs while chasing. Many big players have not been able to score as many runs in their entire IPL career as Virat has scored just in chases. David Warner is second on this list, having scored 3,285 runs in run-chases, while Rohit Sharma is third with 3,238 runs in run-chases.

Virat Kohli has scored the most runs while chasing targets in the IPL so far. The top five batsmen in run-chases are as follows:

3285 – David Warner
3238 – Rohit Sharma

Virat not only broke David Warner’s record but also became the batsman with the most 50+ scores in successful IPL run-chases. He achieved this feat 21 times, while David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan had made this record 20 times each. Additionally, Gautam Gambhir scored 50+ runs 18 times and Rohit Sharma 16 times in successful run-chases.
