The ongoing conflict between the US-Israel and Iran in West Asia has now reached its 19th day. Iran has suffered heavy losses from continuous attacks, but despite this, it is not in a mood to back down and continues its retaliatory actions against Israel as well as Gulf countries.
Meanwhile, a new report from the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, an important commission linked to the US Congress, has made a shocking claim. According to the report, China has supplied Iran with aggressive drones, chemicals related to rocket fuel, and satellite navigation systems, which are being used in attacks in the region.
The commission’s report also stated that a major deal for cruise missiles between China and Iran was almost finalized. According to the “China-Iran Fact Sheet,” China was directly active in supplying weapons to Iran before the US and Israeli attacks in February 2026. The report claimed that China supplied aggressive drones to Iran and a deal for anti-ship cruise missiles was also in the final stages, although full agreement could not be reached between both parties regarding its delivery.
Furthermore, the report also mentioned that China allowed the sale of Sodium Perchlorate, a crucial chemical used in preparing rocket fuel, to Iran. It was reported that in early March 2026, two Iranian government ships departed from China’s Gaolan port, suspected of carrying a consignment of this chemical. This substance is used to make solid rocket fuel, which is utilized in missiles. According to the report, China had also supplied approximately 1000 tons of Sodium Perchlorate to Iran in January 2025.
