Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are currently busy promoting their film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. During this time, the celebrated duo has also shared important information regarding their upcoming films Haiwaan and Hera Pheri 3.
In a recent interview with ‘Screen’, when asked about the release of Haiwaan, Priyadarshan stated that the film could arrive in theaters within approximately 90 days of Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s release. Akshay Kumar, meanwhile, indicated that its release is likely to be around August.
Akshay Kumar will be seen in a negative role in Haiwaan. This film is an explosive action thriller, starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. According to reports, the film’s shooting has already been completed. Additionally, Priyadarshan’s favorite actor Mohanlal will also have a guest appearance in it.
As for Hera Pheri 3, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan stated that currently, there is no confirmation on the film’s release date. A legal dispute is ongoing between Firoz Nadiadwala and Vijay Kumar regarding the IP rights of the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise. According to reports, Vijay Kumar Singh holds the rights and is planning to make Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Sunil Shetty.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a horror-comedy film set to release in cinemas on April 10, 2026. With this film, the duo of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan is making a comeback to the big screen after more than 10 years. Their last project, Khatta Meetha, was released in 2010.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Bhool Bhulaiyaa will feature Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, the late Asrani, Jisshu Sengupta, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar, and Rajesh Sharma, among many other artists.
